What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I enjoy meeting new students face to face and LISTENING to them. What do they want to learn? What expectations exist? I hope to convey to them that I am a capable instructor and have their best interests in mind at all times.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've learned from artists both dead and alive, magazine resources, books, the successes of others, the mistakes of others, comments and critiques. I have experimented with and internalizied what works and shaped it into possesing proficiency, skill, and technique.

How did you get started teaching?
I was working as an illustrator I bought some many supplies on a weekly basis from Spectrum Art Supplies & Picture Framing that the owner took notice and asked if i was working professionaly as an artist and if I would be willing to teach a drawing class and the rest is history.
