About
Art is my way of communicating the inner workings of my brain to the world. Each and everyday we collect pieces of our unique narratives. As an art educator, I empower my students to navigate their own creative journey; I celebrate the process over the product. I allow my students to tell me what they want to get out of our time together and cater directly to their wants/needs.
Art is for everyone. Everyone is an artist. I love teaching art because I loving helping students find confidence in their ability, develop creative critical thinking and most importanly foster a safe, fun and dynamic environment in which all students will feel comfortable exploring art making.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I send a detailed intro about myself and the material for each course I teach as well as a full supply list including links for where to purchase supplies.
I like to give ample time for any new student to ask whatever questions they may have as well as well as ensuring my teaching style will fit their needs. I want us all to be on the same page before we begin so we can hit the ground running :)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my BFA in Fine Art with a concentration in painting. I am primarily an absract painter and an arts educator but my skill-set far exceeds this title. See my full resume below:
