I have been a photography instructor for over 10 years. I taught at an Art College in California. I enjoy teaching people how to take better photos. My focus is on the camera and not the camera-phone, however, with exception I will consider the camera-phone. I have been a certified professional photographers since 1998. One of my photos was selected to hang in the Pentagon in honor of a fallen person on September 11, 2001. The photo was hung during the celebration on September 11, 2002.
I have experience with portrait, product, event and food photography. I am now located in Illinois.
I am a highly skilled Photo Retoucher and Digital Photo Artist.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting the students to understand the basics about their camera. How exposure: Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO works in order to get a better photo. It's all about the light. You don't have to have an expensive camera to take great photos.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Education degree. Certified Professional Photographer. An Adobe Expert.

How did you get started teaching?
Someone asked me once, years ago, if I knew how to do something, I did and I taught it to them. I have knowledge in a lot of areas and I usually wind up teaching it. Teaching photography is a passion. I started teaching photography in 2008.
What types of students have you worked with?
Students who want to learn to photograph everything and learn the benefits of working with an DSLR.
