About

I have been a photography instructor for over 10 years. I taught at an Art College in California. I enjoy teaching people how to take better photos. My focus is on the camera and not the camera-phone, however, with exception I will consider the camera-phone. I have been a certified professional photographers since 1998. One of my photos was selected to hang in the Pentagon in honor of a fallen person on September 11, 2001. The photo was hung during the celebration on September 11, 2002.

I have experience with portrait, product, event and food photography. I am now located in Illinois.

I am a highly skilled Photo Retoucher and Digital Photo Artist.

Jeanette is very passionate about photography and she knows what she is talking about. She knows the history and has experience with different types of photography. Jeanette also collects old cameras which she presents to her students as great examples. She is very creative and always tries to find a new way of capturing images. She is a photoshop diva, knows the program left and right and knows how they teach others how to use it. I liked the fact that Jeanette always had an answer for my questions, usually followed by an example from her own photo experience.

As a Silicon Valley web designer I needed photographs from time to time for cloents web sites. I met Jeanette at a networking group that we both belonged to. I took some private lessons from Jeanette. She is precise & knows photography very well. She spent time explaining details to me. Each Class was about a different aspect of photography such as Portrait, Macro, Landscape, Night shots with moving Fireworks, Still shots for advertising & menu shots. We went on location several times to shoot special things like the Big Moon in San Francisco over the Golden Gate bridge. She made learning fun!
I hired Jeanette for several large events I was resposible for. I would, with confidence, recommend Jeanette for training new photography students or utilizing her photography services for events and/or advertising purposes.
