About this pro

I am a former professional soccer player that is looking to offer personal soccer training sessions in the Chicago area. I played for Greenville Triumph in 2020, Toronto FC in 2019, and Indiana University from 2014-2018. At Indiana University, I was a team captain, all-conference player, and led the NCAA in assists. In high school I was selected to the "All-America" team.

I am now a technical director for Chicago Kics FC and an assistant coach at DePaul University.

I have a passion for soccer and want to share my knowledge of the game to as many players as possible.

My service is designed to make the player improve his or her overall game. I go into depth when explaining my drills and how they are applicable to game situations.

Trevor Swartz 1. Provides excellent soccer training by teaching and reinforcing technical skills. I believe his focused training is valuable because a single coach may have limited time to give towards each player’s development. I appreciate Trevor being fully engaged while training; and he takes the time to address specific training needs as well. 2. Trevor provides a structured and positive environment in addition to making the training sessions fun! This fueled my son’s enthusiasm for additional soccer training and incorporating his own goals. My son has also acquired several drills to continue on his own. 3. One on one Training w/Trevor has strengthened my son’s soccer technical skills, which has increased his confidence as a player. Results achieved includes becoming a stronger teammate, improving his ability to play multiple positions, and play on both sides of the field. 4. I appreciate Trevor’s humbleness and positive attitude; and his expertise from his collegiate and professional soccer experience. 5. My son says, “I like Trevor’s drills! It’s a mixture of different things.”

My daughter loves Trevor. He focuses on her both her strengths and her weaknesses, has improved her agility immensely and most importantly makes her laugh and love the game even more!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

My typical process of working with a student is to get a full evaluation of them. I look at their technical, tactical, and physical abilties to see what they need to work on as a player. Once the evaluation phase is complete, I then implement specific drills that I feel they need to work on to improve.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a master's degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration. Also, I have over 20 years of playing experience including professional, collegiate, and high school soccer.
