About
My whole life I have had a passion for soccer. Starting at the age of 6, Soccer was my life. I played academy soccer from Freshman to Senior year. Upon high school graduation, I unfortunately had to hang up my cleats due to serious injuries I acquired playing the sport I Loved. Despite not being able to play soccer, I have followed my love for the sport in a new way. I graduated from Miami University with a degree in Sports Leadership and Management. My degree focused on youth Coaching, Teen coaching, sports behavior, psychology of sport and much more.
The 2 years before my injury, I was ranked in the top 200 players in the world, had trials with the US U18 national team, and was a 4 X state champ, 3 regional champions, and a 2-time national champion.
My goal is to pass the knowledge and experience I have learned through my years of elite soccer and academic knowledge onto who ever I’m training. I would love to help grow whoever I’m training into a star athlete!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first step is to evaluate the player. Not by their technical abilities, but by their own view of themselves. I will have them assess their strengths, weaknesses, and goals with me. Next, I will run them through a few drills and make my own evaluation of the player. From here, I can decide a good training program for the athlete and identify what they need to work on move to the next level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
1. Years of on field experience.
2. Degree focusing on training and coaching.
3. sport psychology training
4. 3 years of personal training athletes between the grades of 7 and 12

How did you get started teaching?
When i was no longer able to play soccer, I wanted to continue to participate in the beautiful game one way or another. I realized i had a strength in teaching and knew coaching would be a great fit for me and help me continue to be involved in the sport I Love and to help kids reach their fullest potential in the sport.
What types of students have you worked with?
Grades 7-12
In the past I concentrated on Elite Athletes and college prospects. I am looking to expand the range of clients from Novice to Elite.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that you trust and believe to truly have knowledge on the sport. But most importantly, work with someone you connect with but also respect enough to follow and work on the advice and tips they give you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Begin with these 2 questions:
1. Have you put in the work on your own before moving onto a trainer?
2. Ask yourself how dedicated you are? Personal trainer's are not cheap, if you are dedicated enough to start investing in one, you better be dedicated enough to give 100% in your training sessions.
If you answered yes to the above questions then think about...
Where do I need improvement?
a) First touch?
b) Soccer IQ?
c) Weak foot?
d) Vision
