Sport Fundamentals W/ Geoffrey B.
About
Whether you play at the park or in a gym, Sport Fundamentals with Geoffrey B. provides tennis lessons to help you improve your game. They offer individual and small group sessions for any level of a player's skills in tennis, basketball, baseball, and volleyball.
I have taught tennis for over 5 years and have played it since I was 4 years old. I am the most familiar with tennis and can teach at any level. I have never coached basketball, baseball, or volleyball; however, I have played all these sports since I was a child and I have the basic skills to teach the fundamentals of getting started.
The best part of teaching is seeing someone improve their skills and seeing results come gametime.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$1 for every minute of the lesson, plus $20.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching over the summers in college to make extra money and I loved interacting with the kids and seeing them improve.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids ages 4-17 teaching them to play tennis. I would work best with kids at a beginner/intermediate level for baseball, basketball, and volleyball.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Everyone has a different syle of learning and teaching, so don't be afraid to try out a new teacher and see how you like their style. You can always switch it up and find who works best for you. Also, don't always choose the teacher who is "the coolest" because even though they might be "cool" and "fun", you might not be getting the right teaching.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should know what they want. Do you want to be more consistent at the free throw line? Do you want to speed up your serve? Do you want to learn to set the ball better? Do you want to work on your foot skills? The student needs to know what they want so the coach can focus on that, among other fundamentals.
