Headfirst Baseball By Mike Bernal

As a former collegiate and professional baseball player my experiences drove me to share my love for not only baseball but learning, growing and developing. I have been instructing since 2013 and I recently ended my playing career where I then served as a volunteer assistant coach at New Mexico State University. While there, I was responsible for the development of the hitters and infielders. My opportunity at NMSU led me to work with one of the top collegiate bats in the country who ended up being a top 10 pick in the 2020 MLB amateur player draft and opened the door to me working with a handful of MLB players as well as top collegiate players.

In my instruction, I implement the knowledge and skills I've acquired over 25 years of playing- some of which was collegiate, professional and even international. These experiences coupled with my ongoing post grad education in clinical social work allow me to foster an environment ideal for growth and development. I look forward to sharing and aiding your growth as an individual and a baseball player.
