My son will be in 13U travel ball in the spring and he has been training with Coach Knytych during the winter months. Training with Coach Knytych has been a great experience. You can tell he knows his stuff and that he loves the game. He gets my son fired up at every lesson and motivates him to give 100% every time. Being a coach myself, I have learned a lot of tips that I can take back to my own team. Coach Knytych has definitely prepared my son for travel ball in the spring and we greatly appreciate all his time and effort in my sons growth.

I've known Jim for 3 years after hiring him to run a pitching program for my little league team. The experience was exactly what I wanted. He clearly understands pitching, but his experience goes beyond as he can work with catchers, and mentor young hitters. His educator background shines through when working with the kids, connecting individually with each player, teaching them not only how but why, which is essential to learning. I appreciated his style and rapport so much I hired him to work private sessions with my son. That expererience was equally successful. I have a lot of respect for Jim as a baseball instructor and as a person. You cannot go wrong asking him to work with your young athlete. I was asked for a referral by a former player and without hesitation recommended Jim, and I know they have been really pleased.

Coach Jim has been working with my son William (age 11) for 3+ years now. In the beginning, many of the lessons (pitching, hitting, fielding) focused on proper mechanics and muscle-memory drills, which successfully smoothed out a lot of William's "rough edges." What I appreciate, and more importantly what William likes (and needs), is how they now spend a lot of time on the mental aspects of the game too, in terms of both strategy and attitude. Solid encouragement, constructive criticism, and nothing sugar-coated. It is instantly obvious Jim comes from an experienced teaching and administrative background. William continues to gain confidence and enjoy success in travel baseball, thanks in large part to Jim's ongoing efforts. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Coach Jim worked with my 11year old over the last year and did a great job of breaking the fundamentals(hitting, pitching, fielding) down into easy to understand core pieces. Jim's coaching has definitely improved my son's play.
