About
I grew up in Burr Ridge, IL and participated in many sports from a young age. I attended Grinnell College, where I participated in varsity basketball and softball for four years. Several basketball achievements at Grinnell include the following: team captain (1X), All-Midwest Conference First Team (2X), All-Central Region (1X), top ten for twelve statistical categories in the Grinnell record books. During my senior year, I averaged 21 points per game. After graduation, I spent a year in Ireland, participating in a program called The Victory Scholars. As a Victory Scholar, I got the chance to play basketball professionally, coach youth, and obtain a Master's in exercise physiology. I enjoyed learning about the differences between American and Irish styles of basketball. I currently serve as a graduate assistant coach for the women's basketball team at North Central College, where I am pursuing my MBA. In addition, I am the 14U AAU coach for Flow Basketball in Glen Ellyn. Basketball is my biggest passion, and I enjoy working with athletes at both the college and youth level. My goal is to help players cultivate their love for the game and to teach them that hard work pays off.
