About

Thank you for visiting my profile and for taking the first step in elevating your skill and understanding of the game of basketball.

I have been around the game since I was in elementary school, either playing or coaching it, and continue to do both today. I currently play in recreational, but competitive, leagues and I coach at the middle school level.

My philosophy and approach towards my players and clients is the real triple threat: work hard, master fundamentals (or desired skills) through repetition, and have fun.

Should you choose to work with me, you'll quickly learn that my passion for the game is unmatched.

I gain a greater sense of purpose through my ability to teach this game to future generations, and I can only hope they apply principles of being an athlete to their personal lives down the road. Therein lies the true accomplishment.

Frequently asked questions

My philosophy is rather simple: I expect a strong work ethic that'll allow us to master fundamentals before anything, and build added value skill sets accordingly. Catering to the player's strengths and identifying how to improve weaknesses is the ultimate goal.

I have coached and assisted in several camps at many age groups, and have also worked individually with players for several years.

Individual lessons - $50/hr Package of 5 lessons - $225 ($45/hr) Package of 10 lessons - $400 ($40/hr)
I coached and trained boys and girls ages 10-18 years old of varying skill levels, from beginner to intermediate and advanced.
Be sure to ask as many questions as possible and set clear expectations for what you wish to improve. Your time and (parent's) money are valuable, be sure your trainer is teaching what you actually need to learn and what will translate to a game situation.
What is my goal? Where am I at with my situation/team? Do I play as much as I want to or feel I should? Where are my greatest areas for improvement? What intangibles can I work on to separate myself from other players that are just as talented (or more)?
