About
Founded in 2006, the American Music Institute situated in St. Charles and Clarendon Hills, Illinois, is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to delivering high-quality music education. Open to all ages, levels, and styles, it offers a variety of programs from private and group classes, summer camps, to a concert series. AMI's award-winning faculty and artists provide instruction for all instruments, with a focus on preserving the cultural art of music education and performance for future generations. Notably, AMI also hosts the Chicago Youth Orchestra and the Chicago Violin Competition, fostering the development of young talent in the community.
