I teach a variety of genres. I myself call myself the cello singer on IG and YouTube as I enjoy arranging pop songs. I play an electric cello and look up to groups like pianoguys, Lindsey Stirling, Black Violin, and Transiberian Orchestra! I am classically trained and have played cello for 13 years and violin/ viola for 9. Im Suzuki Certified up through book 3 and have a degree from U of I in cello performance

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get an idea where their skills are by having them play something for me that they think demonstrates this well. From there I try to access what Suzuki book I'd like them to start in and I use that method as my primary way of teaching. I'm also into classical pop fusion myself and allow for lots of freedom of expression
