About

I love to perform and teach to others what I know. I have been singing my whole life, since I was a little girl. I'm very intuitive in solving people's vocal issues and getting rapid results to those who wish to improve from any level, age and in any style. Having studied with phenomenal teachers, I have a wealth to pass along. I have a warmth and caring for my students. I like to find out what they want and what they need. Come and study with me and I will show you how your voice, the only instrument made by God, can be easy, beautiful, and fun! I am also a health coach, so till we meet, drink water, water, water!

Celeste Martino, soprano from Western Springs has sung as soloist in numerous professional performances throughout the United States and Europe. Celeste recently sang for Hinsdale Lyric Opera Chapter, with Elgin Opera as Rosalinda; Violetta (cover), elsewhere as Miss Wordsworth; Adalgisa; Olympia; Valencienne (Hanna cover); Papagena; Barbarina; and Dew Fairy. Additionally, she has performed as oratorio soloist in Handel’s Messiah and Mozart Coronation Mass with Hinsdale Choral Society; Brahms’ Requiem with Downers Grove Choral Society; Vivaldi’s Gloria with Bach and Beyond; Rutter’s Requiem BCS; Haydn’s Missa Brevis with St. Mary’s Oratorio Society; and Respighi’s Lauda per la Nativita del Signore at DePaul University. She has also performed on the St. Patrick Performing Arts Centre Series; and at the Daley Civic Center with CCSO; AIMS in Graz, Austria singing Strauss’ Czardas in the ancient Kasematten Theatre. She toured with I Cantori di Perugia in Italy, appearing on RaiUno TV; and in Debussy concerts in Paris. Celeste has 2 CDs under Celestial Sound Records available, and is working on a third. You can hear arias on youtube with IPPL.org; www.ClassicalSinger.net/CelesteMartino; see a documentary in archives at www.CATVHerald.com, with the Czech radio. Also, annually, for The Hinsdale and Western Springs Music Club programs. Celeste also sings for church, teaches private voice, while raising two young daughters with her husband, whom she is thankful for their love and support. She holds a B.M. cum laude from University of Houston with a minor in Italian; M.M. studies were at DePaul University Schools of Music in vocal performance; and sings in nine languages.

It is very satisfying to see my students rapidly improve. And it makes them happy.

Celeste coached my daughter for a musical teacher audition. Her patience and willingness to work with a child really shone, as well as the breath of her technique and her contagious enthusiasm for singing and acting. I could not recommend her highly enough.

I've always taught privately.

all ages, all types.

Singing for an audience of millionaires and then they hug me!

Know what your goals are. Try me out, you will definitely learn something. There is no one teacher for your whole life. I've had many gems from many famous teachers. Healthy singing technique can then do anything.

Be clear about what you want. Listen to your heart. If you don't understand, ask for clarification. What kind of learner are you?kinesthetic? visual? audial? The voice is an organic instrument. If you need to step up on your health for your body to function to support a healthier sound, I can coach you on that. Singers can't get sick, or we have great technique to get us through unnoticed.
