Great Lakes Music Academy offers virtual music lessons as well as in-home lessons (meaning our teachers travel to you!)
We carefully choose teachers who not only have the knowledge and background to provide the highest music education to their students but are also fun and creative - creating an experience that fosters a love of music in our students. All of our teachers have a degree in music.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our teachers meet the students where they are. Some students come to us knowing nothing about music, some have been studying for years. We personalize lessons for each student, taking into account their needs, their learning style, and what they love most about music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our teachers have a degree in music and are also working musicians, representing many areas of the music industry from jazz musicians to musical theater performers to members of the symphony.

Our teachers represent a wide musical spectrum. From Classical to jazz to musical theater; no matter what you're looking for, we've got the teacher for you.
