Hello! I have a vast amount of experience with oils, acrylics, gouache, charcoal, and chalk pastels. I’ve been showing and selling my work professionally for 20 years and have 3&1/2 years of experience teaching adults with little to no experience how to paint with acrylics at Bottle & Bottega. I’ve won numerous awards for my work. I taught myself how to paint as a child and soon enrolled in oil painting classes at the age of 10 (30 years ago) and received a BFA in Painting & Drawing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2003. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is making sure they know the basic fundamentals of the drawing and painting process. Ater that it really depends on the student’s knowledge and skill level. Each person is unique.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 30 years of experience painting and a BFA from SAIC.
