Trumpet Lessons (Jazz/Classical/Studio Recording)
About
I am an active performer and music producer, in addition to being an educator. Given my extensive experience in professional performance, production, and recording, I can offer my students the perspective of an active and effective industry professsional.
I am currently working/have worked with several Grammy award winning producers and artists (see credits) as well as in commercial music. Most recently, my work can be heard in the 2023 NFL Draft (walkout music).
In addition to this, I work with several independent artists and bands in Chicago's vibrant music scene.
I enjoy exposing my students to new music, techniques, and practice approaches that instill a passionate curiosity of the effects music can have on their lives.
I love figuring out how to tailor my teaching to a student's needs and strengths, and seeing how different approaches to teaching can elicit different results for the student.
