I have MFA in textiles and BA in textiles chemical engineering also associate degree in multimedia. Fun fact several months after graduating from IADT in Chicago, l was teaching there.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First of all l have to evaluate where my student stands on the subject, what are the goals and create individual lessons plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have MFA in Textiles and many years of teaching from college to private school and tutoring level. My youngest student was 5, oldest 84.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes l charge $30 for 45min, $50 for 60min, $65 for 90min lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I was asked to share knowledge many many times until l gave in.
What types of students have you worked with?
I worked with 5 to 84 years old, people with disabilities, middle schoolers, high schoolers, college students, moms, business owners, l've seen it all.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I really prefer other people to talk about me. I share my stories on social media. I just returned from the fashion show in NYC it was very challenging and exciting experience.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Learning a new skill or even refreshing old one requires time snd patience. Ask yourself how much do you want to learn? Create a corner where you learn, block out the time for learning. The best results come when you are consistent. Don't expect miracles after one or two lessons.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do you have time and space where to learn?
Do you know your learning style?
Are you easily distracted?
What are your expectations about speed of learning? Do you expect to learn a foreign language in a month?
