I have developed a proven curriculum that focuses on strong fundamentals like tone, technique and rhythm, in order to develop confident, expressive flutists. My students regularly place in district and all-state ensembles and perform in the top ensembles at their schools.
I love working with flutists of all ages and levels, giving them the tools they need to improve, and building confidence.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With a new student, I would have you play something you are working on or are familiar with, and then evaluate your strengths and the areas we need to start focusing on to improve your playing. The first few lessons may focus more on fundamentals so that we can build on these for greater success in all areas of your playing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
