We have over 35 years of CPR experience. We have been training others since 2000. Each person is given personal attention so (s)he may leave the course CONFIDENT to perform CPR in all settings. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We ask our potential student to reserve a seat in the course type and time that best suits them. If (s)he are NOT healthcare professionals, the individual should reserve a Heartsaver course. After reserving the class, an email will be generated with course fee and payment options. When course fee is paid the student has confirmed that (s)he will follow up by attending the course at time chosen by student. We ask that each student come prepared by either studying designated AHA manual for the full instructor led course OR have completed online self directed course through AHA website elearning.heart.org for a skills practice/evaluation session only type of class.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Owner was emploiyed as allied healthcare professional for 18 years in clinic and an adjacent hospital settings before opening her business. She continues to find time to volunteer her skills and train others to be first responders. We have continued education and certification from American Heart Association to qualify as BLS Instructor(1999) as well as Training Center Faculty (2007). The latter certification approves us to teach others to become both BLS and Heartsaver Instructors.
