I’ve been creating art since I was seven years old.I have studied a great deal of different kinds of fine art and graphic design as well .
In my paintings, I am concerned with the act of relationship, with the self expressed through the process of painting. I am Ahlam Homedan, an abstract expressionist artist. My creative process is about connecting to my soul, my spirit and passion. The way I start my unique style of "drip painting" is by setting my canvas on the floor and allow the paint to drip from the paint cans. I give the paint the chance to be mixed and merged on canvas surface, and by several shapes of paint brushes I create the depth of my imagination. I'm interested of what paint can do, making marks that expressively respond to my thoughts and actions. Though largely self taught over my career, I am influenced by the work of Jackson Pollok, Mattise, Van Gogh and Edvard Munch.
I love art and painting and I believe that everyone can be creative! My passion is to spread the spirit and joy of art to those who wish to learn it . I guarantee fast development to students who choose to work with me ..
