What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise the student to know what media and tools they would like to explore. The student should be comfortable asking questions and communicating with teacher. The student should look for someone who has same vibe and work attitude. I want to have fun and share my insights, skills and time with like minded students.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should think about what tools and goals they have. It is okay to not know and to have an idea of what you'd like to experience. Art brings joy into one's life, and the practice helps
us use our leisure time in a productive and meaningful way.
