About
Please see that I only teach digital photography. To people in Chicago that I can meet in person.
Not film. Not film developing. Not out of state. And not online.
I am a photojournalist style photographer, and what I teach.
So, this is the year to improve your skills with an enthusiastic teacher! No question is too small!

As a novice photographer, I cant say enough about Dorothy Perry. I admire her quiet confidence and creative energy. As a teacher and instructor, she definitely knows her way around the camera. Dorothy brings many years of experience in that regard. She has an easy grace in the way that she communicates, and can definitely help you to make order out of chaos. Technique isnt enough...there needs to be a thoughtful soulfulness to viewing your subject in the best light!
