What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We conduct a phone interview with parent or the athlete. Determine if we are right for each other. The athlete shows up to training session signs waivers and commits to at least 1 month!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified and Approved via Illinois High School Coach and Official. NCAA approved and USA approved Coach. Certified Sports Performance Coach.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Small group Monthly sessions $250 per month. 2 to 3 session per week. 515am 6am Getupshutup sessions before school weekly. Weekend sessions $30per session. Private Individual sessions 45 minutes $50 dollars.
How did you get started teaching?
I began coaching and training 35 years ago teaching and holding camps for friends in our neighborhood.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with beginners and pros. We develop hard to reach and elite athletes.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We host All Star games, summer camps and coach nationally. We were hired to coach Basketball Camps in Australia. We are most proud of our athletes that consistently train at 5am. We are also extremely proud of my son who currently plays in the NBA GLeague. Akeem Springs was a High School honor student, All State Athlete before graduating from Wisconsin Milwaukee and transferring to Minnesota. He was a Captain on a team that made the greatest turn around in NCAA history. He is now competing and preparing for the NBA.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Commitment and dedication is the key whomever you choose.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
We believe "Somebody Gotta be Great!" This happen via instruction and commitment.
