Hi, my name is Monique. I have played Basketball for 30 years, High School, College and Semi Pro Basketball. I also have over 30 years of Coaching experience and Teaching Basketball skills to Children age 5 to 18 years (Boys and Girls). I currently own a 2 Professional Basketball Team and own & operate a Basketball Training Academy as well. I will be teaching the basics and fundamentals of basketball. And work on Ball handling, Passing, Shooting Skills, Defense Skills, Jumping Skills and your strength and weakness to improve on your Basketball development.
Seeing my players develop and use what they have learned from me in a game. Or seeing them reach individual goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Hands on Training. Teaching step by step fundimentals and basic to Advance skills of basketball. And making the lessons fun and enjoyable for each player to learn skills. To help them advance to next level of development.

Certified Basketball Trainer, 30 years of Basketball Experience at Elementary, Middle School, High School and College level. Also training at Semi Pro Basketball level and Club Level. Certified Coaching Certificate.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching Basketball and Coaching in 1995 at a Park District.
What types of students have you worked with?
I worked student at age 5 to 18 years old. At all school levels and Physical abilities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One the of events I am fond of are our monthly Basketball Clinics and teaching young students at age 6 who never touched a basketball before and teach them just how to hold a basketball or dribble the ball and watch the kids smile.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask the Trainer what is their strengths and what do they think is the most important part of a basketball game.
