John is a fantastic teacher. Hes very knowledgeable in various styles and music theory. Geared lessons towards my personal interests and often provided an abundant amount of materials to help reinforce any concepts we went over and anything I was curious about.

As a beginner guitar player John went above and beyond in showing me the basics & ways to improve my playing. Super effective & easy to work with. John broke everything down simply. From chords to learning scales. I’m very impressed, highly recommend this teacher.
