He taught me everything I needed to know. From the basics to more advanced things. He taught me how to become a student of the game which led me to become pro baller overseas. I played for a top level BCS institution thanks to Fish and one of the best HS in the city of Chicago. He taught me the importance of repetition and hard work. My skills are due to his coaching/training, Fish has definitely been one of the best things that happened to/for my basketball career.

Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First we warm up then stretch for 20 minutes. Then I have them do some drills to excess ,exactly what they need to develop. Now we can start a development process for the student by identifying there strengths and weaknesses.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm a certified Illinois high school coach. My experience of 29 years helps me give insight on the sport I coach. I also attended coaching seminars to gain more knowledge on the sport to improve my coaching skills.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge by the lesson and distance of travel.

Each 90 minute lesson is $45.

How did you get started teaching?

I was asked by my coach to volunteer for Bittyball to help the younger kids. At the time I was just graduating from 8 th grade. I stuck with it because of the joy it brought me to see the happiness in the eyes of the kids. I'm 42 years old now and still coaching. I fell in love with coaching and helping others.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with all levels of students and just about every race. I love to coach no matter the experience of the student. It's just my way of life.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure that the teacher is knowledgeable and have the student best interest
