About
I started playing bass and guitar over 25 years ago and graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2003 with degrees in bass performance, arranging and composition. I’ve been teaching bass and guitar for almost 20 years.
My goal is to design a program that fits your needs, centered on the music you like and want to play. We’ll cover proper technique and use songs you know to improve your performace skills.
I like the challenge of figuring out how to help you improve independently of your level. Everyone is different and brings unique skills to the table. My goal is to point you in the right direction and draw from your personal experience in order to achieve your objectives.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to learn as much as possible about a student in order to find out their needs and what they'd like to get out of their new hobby. Then we'll design a program that covers any of the topics they might be inerested in, including music theory, ear training, transcribing, how to practice and how to learn music quickly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and graduated in 2003 with degrees in Bass Performance and Contemporary Writing & Production (recording, arranging & composition).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I normally charge $30 for a half hour or $50 for a full hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of people, from teens and pre-teens to college students, young professionals and retirees. I like the challenge of helping a beginner figuring out how an instrument works as well as pushing an experienced player to find new ways to reach his full potential.
