Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Clients work in groups of 8 or less, with 3 training stations, 20min rotations. This allows for individual attention, correction, and high/quality reps.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Owner of TS Basketball Skills Training, Operations Assistant Manager for Hoop Mountain, and Coach/trainer for CP3 National Middle School Combine.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have training packages. The packages are as follow:
Bronze- $75hr, 1hr.
Silver- $175hr, 4 sessions, 1hr ea.
Gold- $250, 6 sessions, 1hr ea.
Elite- $300, 8 sessions, 1hr ea.
How did you get started teaching?
I use to run a sports organization on the Chicago Northside called i9Sports. Even though I enjoy all sports, I wanted to turn my focus only towards basketball. I started my own company and work with some of the biggest basketball programs, camps, and organizations.
What types of students have you worked with?
My clients range from ages 10-25yrs old. Clients of all skill level from beginner to D1 prospects.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Getting an offer from the CP3/Jordan director to coach/train in their Middle School National Combine. I have now worked 3 events and counting.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure your trainer challenges you in areas you are weak in. It makes no sense to over train in an area you are already strong at.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should ask themselves how bad do they really want it! Don't waste a trainers time, your time, your parents time & money!
They should also ask themselves how much are they willing to sacrifice?
