About

I have had a successful career on the basketball court along with the football field. In high school I was Conference player of the year for basketball and Offensive Player of the year for football as a quarterback. I have always been in love with the game of basketball. Not only just the games, but putting in the needed work to become the best player I can be. As I did with myself, I will give you 100% to make sure you become the best player YOU can be. With the bonus, of helping you become a better leader. Each session will end with a leadership lesson you will be able to apply to your everyday life. I am a ASEP certified coach for the Illinois High School Association. I have trained, Elementary, High School, Collegiate Athletes.

I enjoy seeing the developement of a player! Starting off at a certain level, then helping them grow into their best selves. It's never easy but the challenge of knowing every player is different and has certain strengths and weaknesses, and I can help turn their weaknesses into strengths, and build off their strengths gives me the most joy about this work!

    We came to Demetrius based on a recommendation from my daughter’s competitive travel team (AAU) coach. Demetrius works with the top basketball players in the state for good reason. He’s extremely talented at explaining things and great at encouraging players. He’s very professional, and takes such a limited amount of players in a group (2-3) that my daughter gets a lot of one-on-one attention. The proof of his work with her has been in her skill set and confidence drastically improving. So grateful her coach recommended him to us!

    I am a ASEP certified coach for the Illinois High School Association. 

    Pricing will depend on the facility I will be operating out of. I normally am in Glen Ellyn, or Roselle. The base price will cover the court fee, then the additional price covers the skills and leadership aspect of the session. 

    I was always in love with the game of basketball! Once my playing career was over, I wanted to give back and give players the opportunity I never had when I was their age! Great instructional skill work and various leadership methods to help become a better person.
