NE Thing Training
About
n.e. thing training, based in Northbrook, IL, provides American Red Cross–certified CPR, AED, and First Aid education delivered on-site for camps, workplaces, and families. Founded in 2025 by certified instructor Eli Neirick, the company focuses on accessible, hands-on training that prepares people to respond effectively in emergencies. Offerings include CPR/AED & First Aid for general workplace and community needs; Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals and first responders; CPR for the Professional Rescuer (CPRO) for lifeguards, coaches, and fitness staff; and First Aid for Severe Trauma (FAST). Courses are available in blended formats that combine online learning with in-person skills sessions or as fully instructor-led classes, and meet OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Training can be customized with add-ons such as Epi‑Pen use, tourniquet application, bloodborne pathogens, and administering emergency oxygen. For groups previously certified through n.e. thing training, a short, on-site CPR refresher program reinforces critical skills between certification cycles. Flexible scheduling and mobile delivery allow organizations to train teams at their location and pace.
