About
I teach my students to Control their body ... so they can Control the ball ... so they can Control the game; by working on their Balance, Technique, Rhythm and Resistance. I give written feedback through emails and comment on 1-8 videos I take during the lesson or one of their games I attend. I played and coached men's Fastpitch for 12 years and have coached Rec, Travel, Jr High, High School, Travel and College softball.
I enjoy watching my students exceed their, their coaches' and their families' expectations. I like to consider myself a teacher similar to what Annie Sullivan was. When they "see the light" stand back, because they will take us on a fantastic journey of success. In one year, one of my students was voted Miss Softball in Ky... and number 2 and number 3 in the voting were also my students.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Share info... encourage one session... give them written feedback, with videos... I currently have 76% loyalty.. and since I've been keeping track, [2015] I've given over 1550 lessons of 1hr in length.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played Fastpitch Softball in the Navy at Pearl Harbor, and we won the SubPac FP Softball League two years in a row. When I got out of the service, I taught myself how to pitch and found a local team in E Lansing, MI at MSU. From that year on, I played Men's fastpitch for 12 years around Indiana, Michigan, and Kentucky. I managed my own teams, and went to NCAA coaches clinics to improve my skills. I met and learned from various college Coaches and players. I also was an assistant coach for the University of Evansville, then went on to be an assistant coach at Stevensville Lakeshore HS under Denny Dock, who has 7 State Championships and over 1200 HS victories. When I moved to IL, I coached at two different HS and then when I moved back to IN, I coached at Columbus East HS with Jerry Burton where we finished 22-6 and 22-5 and made it to the Semifinals and the Quarter finals, setting records along the way with a 14-0 start, HR record, Team batting average record, etc. I started teaching FP softball in Evansville, IN and have been teaching ever since [around 45 years]
