I have been teaching and performing music for over 20 years. I have a bachelors degree in music and a professional internationally touring musician. I teach guitar, piano, bass, drums, music theory, composition, songwriting and basic guitar tech work. I teach all genres of music and excel at classical, jazz and rock music.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our first lesson will always be an assessment of what the students musical goals are and what level of player they are. After our assessment, we will begin working towards accomplishing those goals with exercises and learning songs.

How did you get started teaching?
At 18 I began teaching all the neigbor kids how to play guitar. I eventually started teaching at a music store in college.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginners, intermediate and advanced players ranging from 8 to 74.
