Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students can sign up for a communit class on our website. We have new classes weekly and all over central Indiana! We also do private classes for groups. Learning CPR and First Aid is always more fun with friends!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated college as a Medical Assistant and worked in the medical field for several years. About 4 years ago I became an American Red Cross Instructor and grew a passion for it! I now travel all over Indiana, along with a few other instructors, to teach these life saving skills.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing starts at $65 and goes up from there. We offer several different types of class depending on what you're needing or wanting learn!
How did you get started teaching?
I started out as an American Red Cross Instructor and my passion grew from there. I expanded into teaching American Heart Association, American Health and Safety Institute, and even Pet First Aid and CPR.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with all kinds of students, mostly adults. We teach teachers, parents, nurses, college students and just about anyone from all types of occupations. We have also had several middle and high school students in our classes.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently we had a young mother in our class that has a 9 month old son. Just 2 days after taking our class her son choked on a chip and turned blue. Thankfully she knew how to care for him and properly dislodged the chip and saved his life!
