About
Hello my name is Steve Malichi. I have played, coached, and been around some of Indiana's finest players. I am a teacher of the game. My father was a coach for several years and taught my brothers and I the ins and out early of the game. I have a 16 year old son that I coach and also train in the gym and a 5year son that is an athlete. If you go to my Instagram account you can find videos of my son's workouts. I make sure to always be respectful but push any player that I work with to their highest peak of success. I am not professional but I get results. I work on cardio, core, strength, shooting, passing, dribbling, re-bounding and mental confidence. So many of our youth do not believe in themselves and as a coach that's where you start. I do not own a gym but have one I can rent. I played high school basketball at Connersville Sr. High school here in Indiana. I am a graduate of Indiana University. I played division 3 Basketball at MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois. I also practiced against the Indiana Fever for three years. Now I coach and train my son and the youth in my community .
I love seeing my students grasp what I'm teaching them, and then watching them use the lessons in the game . I also Love seeing the personal improvements that the students make to enhance their performance of play.
