Ron is personable, hard working, pushes the student to work hard but also works at their level. He is an excellent trainer!

I like working off the gun, short time, quick reps. Working on game like shots!

Ron is truly focused on the betterment of the player above and beyond a specific skill or two. He engages the player, learns their interest and desires to develop a whole player approach to development. He has offered motivational books, video clips showing good work and areas for improvement, confidence building / motivational workouts, straight talk / encouragement about areas for improvement and he has even attended games where the player was on the floor when he was not the coach just to observe strengths/weakness from a different viewpoint. Ron does not sugar coat the truth, but he does position it respectfully and with rationale. Ron will use all tools in his toolbox to push the player to new heights, and he will let the player know if he feels they are not upholding their end of the bargain. It tends to be a good balance for those who wish to learn. Engaged players will achieve things they didnt once think possible if they are motivated, the do their homework and listen to what Ron suggests. Finally, I would say that my player still seeks out Ron for friendly touch-ins, life checks and sharing personal triumphs. Ron never lets my player down.
