About this pro

Teaching player's how to play the game of basketball and why the details of the game are most important. It's said that the game is 90% mental and 10% physical. I not only believe it but know it to be true. Now, ask yourself do you spend 90% of your time on the mental or just 10% of the time? Let's make it make sense.

I enjoy the gratitude demonstrated by each player when they start getting their desired results with some consistency. We preach enjoy the journey to greatness.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We begin with a 30 minute evaluation and conversation. If we agree that working together will serve us, a program will be created for the individual player based on ball handling, shooting, creating space, getting open, setting & using screens, along with transition play. We pride ourselves on teaching how to play the game with and without the ball. One ball five players, ten when you count the defense, and so it is extremely important we know how to make winning decisions and actions when off ball.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

M14Hoops Court Leader, IMPACT Basketball Total Player Development Certification, IHSAA Boys & Girls Basketball Tournament Official, NCAA Womens Basketball Official, YouthHoops of Indianapolis Coach of the Year (2003, 2004), US Armed Forces Post and Company Level Player (Saudi Arabia, Germany, and Korea), High School Varsity Player.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Our price is $600/monthly for eight sessions package (meeting twice a week for four weeks). Players must agree to working on days that we don't meet to ensure that the best habits are being established for translation into the games. Homework is assigned and must be completed before the start of the following week training session.

How did you get started teaching?

We have been students of the game for over 20 years and opened for business June 3, 2017.

What types of students have you worked with?

We have worked with First Step students (Boys & Girls) through Adults.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Find a coach that you can communicate, connect and care for and who will reciprocate. A coach that has your permission to nurture, truth-tell, motivate and inspire you will guide you to life changing results.
