    He took the time to get to know my daughter, and what HER goals were. He then helped create a plan (with benchmarks and rewards along the way) for her to get there. Having already been a pitcher for a few years, she has some inefficiencies (bad habits) to overcome, James is steering her thru those while shaping her mechanics and reinforcing the foundations which are so vital for successful high level pitching.
    I believe my daughters learning curve has been greatly reduced by the way he explains what has to happen, using a variety of examples that she understands. He also teaches her the why these things need to happen, so she sees their importance as a takeaway from each lesson. Additionally, he holds her accountable, which reinforces the fact that her success rests in her own hands; by means of her focus, effort, and work ethic, not only during a lesson but in her practice at home.
    Above all else, his first priority has been the well being of my daughter, by emphasizing the importance of proper mechanics, hes ensuring that shell minimize the risk of injury as she continues her journey.

    My daughter started in a rut, mentally and physically. The turn around in 6 months, just going every other week, has been unbelievable. Little tweaks have made the biggest difference. She was absolutely unable to throw a change up. We had tried so many different things but with Coachs instruction shes finally able to see and feel the difference. Im very pleased with what hes accomplished in a short period of time.

    We met Coach James at a Rick Pauly clinic in Fort Wayne. She liked James so much a few months later we went to another clinic in Indiana. That sealed the deal for us to ask him to be our pitching coach. 4hrs away lol but worth every mile!

    Frequently asked questions

    Initially I will perform an evaluation to determine the priorities in her development. We will look for joint stability, flexibility, dexterity, fast twitch muscles, overall coordination.

    Once I have establish a baseline, we will determine a plan of action. We will focus on safe and efficient movements of the body to produce the best results possible while avoiding injury.

    I am a founding member of several educational in online training universities to teach Fastpitch mechanics. I am an elite level instructor certified through Pauly girl fast pitch. I organize a group of the top pitching coaches in the country that meet online once a week to discuss various topics regarding our continuing education of pitching.

    My hourly rate is currently $50 per hour

    Do your research! Make sure that what your daughter is being taught is safe and efficient mechanics. Video your daughter and replay that video in slow motion, then compare that video to the best pictures in the world. See where they are alike and see where they are different! The point here is to make sure you are a part of the training process, so that you can reiterate what's being taught in lessons when you were at home.
