I'm a former professional basketball player and college basketball coach. I know what it takes to play at the next level and I have been training people to do so for almost a decade.
Over that time I have helped over 50 collegiate athletes and 10 pros improve their skills. I specialize in improving jump shooting and scoring ability.
I also am a certified personal trainer with a specialty in improving core stability and strength through motion. I love to learn new techniques and keep up with the latest science to give my athletes the best training sessions possible.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing I do is take an assessment of where the player is currently at skill-wise. I do this through a series of fundamental drills and verbal questions. This will help me to build a plan specifically for the player.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Sport Management along with a NASM personal trainer certification.

How did you get started teaching?
While I was playing basketball in college I did an internship where I coached a high school summer team. During the internship I developed a love for skill development and helping other players get better.

I've worked with all types of players from beginners to pros.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently one of the players that I trained was named to an All-Region team at the collegiate level. He put in a ton of work and I was proud to see others recognize his hard work.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be consistent, hungry, and patient.
