About
I am a well rounded professional artist with gallery experience. I have created custom pieces for a long list of celebrity clients including Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Michael Rooker, Jason Mewes, Doug Jones, Ming Chen and several others. I am well versed in most mediums including, pencil/ charcoal drawing, oil, acrylic, watercolor painting, collage and sculpture.
I not only will guide you in the technical aspects of creating but the business side of being an artist as well. I will show you how to sell online, in person, how to reach galleries and what they are looking.
I will help you set obtainable goals and guide you to reaching them.
I have a compulsion to create art and have done so for as long as I can remember. My great uncle, Michael Vollbracht, was a well know illustrator for Vogue and the NY Times as well as a fashion designer to the stars. He inspired me to be an artist at a very young age.
I enjoy everything about my work. I love the process of creating a concept, I love the process of sitting in my studio painting and listening to music, I love the final product and the overwhelming sense of accomplishment that comes along with it. Most of all, I love seeing the final piece bring someone else enough joy that they want it hanging in their home.
Giving lessons is a way for me to help others gain the same self confidence and sense of accomplishment, allowing them to create without boundaries.
