About
Art changed my life at a young age because I had an art teacher who invested in my life. She nurtured my creative talent AND she also cultivated my self-esteem which is why I love teaching art! I seek to pay it forward by helping youth become their best, both artistically and individually.
I will help my students gain artistic skills while reinforcing self-esteem. Students will build their confidence while learning specialized techniques in art-making.
I earned my B.A. in Fine Arts and M.A. in Creative Arts Therapy. I served with AmeriCorps for two years, as an art educator. I have provided art lessons for individual sessions to parties to educational classrooms, since 1996.
Teaching helps everyone develop their problem solving skills; I want students to feel proud about their accomplishments and know that their creativity is a way to navigate their world.

I volunteer monthly in my son's classroom and we make various art projects. I enjoy watching their self-confidence and imagination grow!
