Serving Kentuckiana since 1941, Preston Arts Center, Inc., is a third generation, family owned and operated art materials store. Our teachers are experienced artists and art teachers, and our students range from absolute beginners to experienced artists. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Painting classes have specific exercises which familiarize the student with materials, color mixing, etc. before going on to paint a student project. Drawing classes are geared more toward beginners or more advanced students. Most other classes and workshops are more topical, and not geared to skill level.
