How did you get started teaching?
By attending a CCW course that I did not feel good about when I left. My wife attended the class with me and she didn't learn anything which made the decision for me to get certified so that I could ensure that those that I taught knew the serious business of owning and carrying a gun.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with both young and old, experienced and inexperienced and all varieties of skill levels.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Research and discuss with others. Don't take a class just because you get done quick. Look for an instructor that takes their job seriously. The little inconvenience you experience by attending a little longer class won't be regretted if you ever have to use a gun in self defense.
