Do you want to learn to paint what you see? If you want to learn to look at something, draw it accurately, then mix the colors you need and apply them expressively to canvas, I'm your guy. I emphasize traditional, archival oil painting techniques, while at the same time recognizing that oils are a costly medium and can therefore can recommend areas in which the student can save money. If desired, I will take you out with me to paint plein air, one of my main pursuits.
