About this pro

I try to motivated and educate every step of the way.

It's baseball!  I love the game so it's not like work at all, but I do get great enjoyment in seeing a player's progession.

I loved everything about having Ed coach my son. My son learned more in a few months with Ed than he has learned in the last two years of playing in other leagues. More importantly is Ed truly cares about his players and will not put his players in a position to jeopardize their mental & physical well being. Hands down, best coach my son has had.

Knowledgeable and works fantastically well with my 15 year old. Motivating and goal oriented! Great individualized program.

Coach Ed gave my son the motivation he desperately needed. He also taught him how to crush a 3-1 fast ball. Thanks Coach Ed!

Great organization and coaching. My son learned more in his 1st practice than he has in 7 years of playing. Great kids that all want to play and work great together. Looking forward to a great season!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Get to know the player, their needs, and work them out with basics.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have played and coached this game I love for over 20 years.  Serving as Hitting Coach, 3rd Base Coach, Head Coach, and even Vice President at various levels throughout the years, I currently am the Head Coach of both the 11u & 15u South Shore Patriots teams.  I enjoy coaching seminars, am USA Baseball Certified, and study child physcology to be the best coach I can be.

How did you get started teaching?

About twenty years ago with my son, eventually building a passion to help kids find a love for the game.

What types of students have you worked with?

Ages 7-22.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Manager, 21u Championship.

General Manager, 14u Semi-Finalist.

Helping a 10u player hit his first home run.

Watching 10u players bring home All-American Championship.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Get someone you feel like you can learn from.  Someone who will push you and not allow you to get lazy.  Good coaches will manage talent.  Great Coaches will teach it.
