Fosco McDonald

Hi, I’m Fosco McDonald, and I’ve been playing bass guitar since I was 15. Recently, I graduated from Berklee College of Music, where I honed my skills and deepened my understanding of music. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to play a wide range of genres, from rock to funk to fusion, which has given me a versatile approach to teaching. My goal as a teacher is to guide my students in mastering both technique and musical theory in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. For beginners, I focus on breaking down the songs they love, step by step, helping them build confidence while slowly introducing them to reading music. I also emphasize ear training, which I believe is key to becoming a well-rounded musician. I’m excited to help you grow as a bassist and have fun in the process!
