How did you get started teaching?
CPR of America was established in 2014 with a mission to train and equip as many people as possible with the life-saving principles of CPR. Studies have shown that someone suffers from cardiac arrest, administering CPR doubles or triples the victim’s chances of survival. By extension, we believe we are in the business of saving lives.
What types of students have you worked with?
Since the founding of CPR of America, we have taught thousands of students the life-saving principles of CPR. We have trained a variety of different clients from multi-million dollar companies to Girl Scouts troops and everything in between. While our customer’s needs might be different, we always treat all of our customers with the respect that they deserve.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Teaching the faculty of Harvard University was a particular client that I am fond of. To be able to educate some of the most talented people in the world was exciting and at some times humbling.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Some advice that I would give to customers in the following How many people are attending the courses? Is it a repeat course or is it a one time occurrence? What certifications do you need/want (AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross)
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
In my opinion, we think it is critical to have customers make sure that the certifications that they are receiving are the correct ones for their individual situation. There has been countless times when people did not take the correct course and their job or school will not accept the certification that they received.
