We work with all level students, from beginner to professional. Lessons are a full hour or half an hour in length, delivered in the studio or online.
The Bristol Voice Method is unique- we are one of the few vocal programs in the world that teaches the TRUE pop/rock/r&b/folk method (non-classical) which is the style of singing used by nearly every contemporary major recording artist for the last 40 years. While most voice instructors teach a classical or Broadway style, the Bristol Vocal Method prepares you to succeed as a contemporary singer and offers all the tools used by today’s top singers. Styles: Pop, Rock, R&B, Folk, Country, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Hip Hop, Rap and more.
We have trained many singers who have excelled on live tv, and placed first, fifth, placed in the finals, or competed in all of today's national television singing shows such as: The Voice, The Voice Brazil, America's Got Talent and American Idol.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We offer a FREE no obligation consultation to evaluate the students voice. We focus on what skills the student already has, and what skills they need to focus on. From there we develop a specific curriculum based on the students needs and personal goals.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Voice and piano students have the choice to pay weekly or take advantage of our discounted rate when they buy a block of ten lessons (and get the 11th for free.)
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with all levels of students, from complete beginners to professional level singers. Some of our students wish to improve their performances at open mics and some of them aspire to go on and become professional singers. Many of our students have won top categories or auditioned and been selected on tv shows such as American Idol, The Voice, America's Got Talant and XFactor. The benefit of our program is that it leaves students with new abilities and the knowledge and tools to navigate the world of pop/rock/r&b music, and allows them to curate a voice that grabs the attention of listeners.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Students love our Open Mic nights, and our packed house Student Showcases!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is important to find a teacher that understands what you are looking for. There are many people out there who teach classical, operatic and musical theater styles of singing but not many who solely focus on the pop/gospel style. While other teaching styles can still be successful in shaping a contemporary voice, our program specifically studies the techniques and styles of the chart toppers from the past 40 years. If you want to see results, the best thing to do is to study the voices that have achieved the results that you want.
