About
I started out as a wedding and family photographer. I have since branched out into commercial photography with clients who own restaurants, architectural firms, construction and remodeling as well as non-profits.
I am also an FAA certified Drone Pilot which gives me the ability to find unique imagery and video for my clients.
I've always loved having the ability to teach what I have learned over the years in business as well as photography.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with an initial consultation to see where the students skills currently are. This allows me to help customize a training plan that will most help the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught workshops on photography for instagram as well as trained assistants in my own photography business. I am constantly learning new processes whether it be in photography itself or through learning new editing skills.
I am also a member of Professional Photographers of America and go to annual training to learn more about my craft.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the type of teaching I do, pricing typically starts at $50 hr. for basic training and $75 an hour for more advanced training.
How did you get started teaching?
I started by teaching assistants in my wedding photography business and have been consistently asked to teach larger groups on a regular basis.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages. I have taught children, adults and retirees looking to improve in their hobby.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would have a conversation to see if you are a good fit. While the basics of photography are pretty much the same, there are areas of expertise within the genre of photography that one teacher may have over another.
