Classes are PRACTICAL, PURPOSEFUL, FUN and ENJOYABLE. Our goal is to help the student SPEAK the language. Our method guides participants towards achieving this goal. We train students to listen to the language, get accustomed to the accent and distinguish its unique sounds. Learning a second language involves the same steps required to learn your own language: listening, understanding, memorizing, speaking in short sentences, adding vocabulary, speaking in long sentences. Everyone starts at their own level of proficiency, then it's moved to progress at their own pace. The rate of success is not measured by how fast you learn, but by making sure there are no GAPS in the understanding of the language and the lessons taught.
We've been teaching both Spanish and English for the past 20 years to children as young as 2yrs old to adults 94 yrs. old.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are professional bilingual educators, licensed by the state of MA. Besides being native speakers, we hold degrees in Education and Spanish and English as a second language. All teachers hold a minimum of a Bachelors degree, but most hold a Masters degree.

Classes are $30 /45 minutes of solid teaching.
Group classes of 5 students+ $12/student/ 1 hour
How did you get started teaching?
Our program started out of popular demand in town. After a series of short summer introductory classes, parents requested a formal program to introduce their non-English-Spanish children and teens to English and Spanish. Program has been in business for the past 20 years.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It's very important to inquire about the origins of professionals teaching a second language. Usually, native professional speakers understand their language better than a non-native. Usually teachers that work with children have a better approach than teachers who only work with adults.
