Jessica's Flute Studio
About
Jessica has been teaching flute since the mid 90's with a batchelors degree in music education from UMASS, Amherst. She has enjoyed watching many students excell in their playing abilities. Quite a few have qualified for district and all-state festivals and even gone on to major in music themselves.
I enjoy the looks of success and amazement on the faces of my students when they have a breakthrough or make connections with what they are studying. Progress is always enjoyable to both student and teacher!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Be ready to discuss your experience and knowledge of music. Even if you have zero experience, your teacher will need to know that going in to your first lesson. Think about why you want to learn the flute and why that is important to you.
